Prachesu Sahu of Angul and Debasish Rout of Utkal Karate School bagged a treble each in the 4th State Shooting Championship, which concluded here at Utkal Karate School today. Among other notable achievers, Smaran Sankar Mishra and Lipsa Sethy (both Utkal Karate School) claimed a double each.
State Sports Secretary Saswat Mishra gave away the prizes at the closing function. The three-day championship was conducted by Odisha Rifle Association. Competion in 50 metre rifle and 25 metre pistol events was held at Police Shooting Range in Bayree (Jajpur), while that of air rifle and air pistol events took place at Utkal Karate School here.

50m rifle: Junior men: 1. Debasish Rout (UKS), 2. Bimal Kumar Munda (Damanjodi), 3. Jachindra Nayak (Damanjodi). Senior men: 1. Prakash Kumar Sahu (Angul), 2. Arabinda Sahu (Junagarh), 3.
